Privacy policy

Last updated 4 October 2026

Dhando helps local businesses collect genuine Google reviews through one link. This page explains what we collect from business owners and from the customers who open their links, and what we do with it.

Who we are

Dhando is run by Reverblunt Pvt Ltd, trading as Gigzman, Shop No. 70, Dwarka Expressway, Sector 104, Gurugram, Haryana 122006, India. We are responsible for the personal data described here.

For anything about your data, write to tarun@gigzman.com or call +91 72104 99455.

What we collect

Business owners who use the Dhando app (Android or app.dhando.live):

  • Your name, email address and, if you add one, a contact phone number.
  • If you sign in with Google, your Google account email and account ID. We never see your Google password.
  • The business you link: its Google Maps place ID and the public details Google shows for it (name, address, category, rating). Any logo, share image or description you upload.
  • Your device's approximate location, only while you search for your business, to show nearby results first. We don't store it.
  • QR stand orders: the order, amount and payment status. Card, UPI and bank details go to Cashfree, not to us.
  • Your notification settings.

Customers who open a review link:

  • The star rating you pick and the topics you choose.
  • The review text you copy to post on Google. The business owner can see it in their app. We copy it; we never post anything on Google for you.
  • How you reached the page (QR code, WhatsApp or a shared link), your device type and operating system, and your approximate city and country, worked out from your connection. We don't store your IP address.
  • A random visit ID kept in your browser for the session, so one visit is counted once.

We don't ask for payment details, government IDs or any sensitive personal data, and customers never need an account.

Cookies and tracking

dhando.live uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used. It sets cookies in your browser. You can block them in your browser settings and every page still works.

Review links keep the random visit ID in your browser's session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab. The owner app keeps your sign-in token on your device.

We don't run advertising trackers and we don't sell or rent data to anyone.

Why we use it

  • To run your account and your review link (our contract with you).
  • To suggest review drafts in English, Hinglish or Hindi from the rating and topics a customer picks.
  • To show owners how their link is doing: visits, ratings, copied reviews and where visitors came from.
  • To take and deliver QR stand orders, and keep payment records the law requires.
  • To send sign-in codes and, if you turn them on, activity and weekly summary emails.
  • To keep the service secure and fix problems (our legitimate interest).

We don't use your data for marketing lists and we don't share it for anyone else's marketing.

Who processes it

These providers handle data for us, only to run Dhando and only on our instructions:

  • Amazon Web Services hosts the service and stores data in Mumbai (ap-south-1). AWS Bedrock writes the review drafts; the request (business name and type, rating and topics) may be processed in other AWS Asia Pacific regions.
  • Google: Google Maps business details, Google sign-in and Google Analytics.
  • Cashfree Payments takes payments for QR stands. Your name, email and phone are shared with it to create the payment link.
  • Amazon SES sends sign-in codes and notification emails.

Some of these providers process data outside India, under their standard data-protection terms.

How long we keep it

  • Customer visits, including copied review text: 90 days, then deleted automatically.
  • Daily visit counts for a link: as long as the owner's account exists.
  • Owner accounts, links and uploads: until you delete your account.
  • Sign-in codes: minutes. Per-visit counters: two days.
  • Payment records for orders: kept after an account is deleted, for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Owners can edit their details in the app and delete their account from Profile → Personal details, which removes the account, its links and their visit data.

Customers, or anyone else, can write to tarun@gigzman.com. We reply within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Security

Everything travels over HTTPS and is encrypted at rest on AWS. Only the people who run Dhando can access the data, and only when they need to. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we'll tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

Children

Dhando is for businesses and their adult customers. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 18.

Changes

We update this page before we change how we handle data, and change the date at the top. If a change matters to owners, we'll also tell you in the app or by email.
